Challenge
Highlight the desperate need to help millions of children affected by the Syria conflict.
Idea
An interactive map to demonstrate the overall scale of the crisis, but also to highlight individual stories within that larger picture and Save The Children’s work in the region. An easy to use navigation would let users explore stories through videos, photos and first-person case studies.
Impact
Individual lives highlighted against a backdrop of overwhelmingly shocking facts and figures showed the importance of the charity’s work. The connection with individual people gave those numbers a far greater impact, driving supporters to donate and help Save The Children continue to make a difference.
